What Working Here Involves
Our team helps people learn handheld laser welding in a practical, workshop-first setting. That means clear instruction, careful supervision, good housekeeping and proper safety from the first induction to the final certificate of completion.
We work with learners from small fabrication shops, busy production floors and businesses that need better control over heat, distortion and finish. The work is hands-on and sometimes fast paced, especially when we are supporting workshops that need training around load-shedding, limited space or tight production windows.
Roles We Commonly Hire For
We do not keep a public vacancy list on this page, but we regularly look for people who can handle training, workshop support and client-facing work with care. Some roles need strong technical skill, while others suit organised people who enjoy systems, administration and learner support.
- Laser welding instructors and assistant trainers
- Safety and compliance support
- Starter kit sales and client support
- Workshop technicians and technical help staff
- Training coordination and document preparation
- Site support for inductions, setup and refresher visits
What We Value In A Candidate
We look for people who are steady, practical and easy to work with. In a training environment, small details matter: correct eye protection, sensible fume extraction, careful handling of equipment and clear communication with learners and supervisors.
- Experience in welding, fabrication, technical support or training
- Good communication in person and in writing
- Respect for safety rules and workshop procedures
- Comfort working with learners at different skill levels
- Ability to travel when needed, including local site visits
- Hands-on thinking and problem-solving under pressure
Training, Safety And Support Culture
Because we work with laser equipment, safety is part of the job every day. Team members are expected to understand laser class basics, eye protection requirements, extraction for fumes and the discipline needed around controlled work areas. A tidy station and a proper pre-use check can prevent a lot of trouble.
We also support businesses that need starter kit setup, workflow advice and quality walkthroughs. That means our people need to explain things simply, spot issues early and help keep the learning process practical, not overcomplicated.
Where The Work Takes Us
Our base is in Boksburg, Gauteng, but the work reaches learners and workshops in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town, Polokwane and nearby East Rand areas. Some days are spent in training rooms, other days in active workshops where time, space and power supply need to be managed carefully.
We value people who can adapt to different sites and different kinds of users. One week may involve a beginner class, the next a supervisor coaching visit or a consumables planning session for a workshop that needs a better routine.
